Thanks for another great match. Fell out of top 5. I'm losing my edge.

    Good morning all!

Just wanted to remind everyone that we will not be hosting a match this weekend. Staff will be shooting the Wilson Combat Rocky Mountain Regional IDPA Championship in Cameo, CO. There are still a few spots open if you're interested. They put on some of the best matches I've ever attended!

Hope to see you all in September.

Thank you everyone for coming out this weekend. A big thanks also for the setup help, as we were missing a couple of our regulars. Results are below.

Please remember that next month is the last match of 2020, so make sure you mark your calendar for Oct 24! Hope to see you all there!

    Hello everyone!

For our last match of the year, we are going to attempt to run the IDPA National Championship Postal Match. It looks like a really fun match and you get to see how you stack up against shooters from all over the world without having to stray too far from home!

The match will run the same as our normal matches with a few minor exceptions. First off, if you want your scores to be uploaded to the IDPA website, you must have a current IDPA membership and classification (in the division you plan to shoot) and there will be an extra $15 fee to collect at registration time. This fee goes directly to IDPA HQ to pay for match administration, awards, etc. and is in addition to our local club fee. Second, while the match only consists of five stages, the setup required is much more labor intensive than we are used to. Everything must be meticulously measured and placed so that we ensure the consistency of the stages. For this reason, I have reserved the berms for the day before the match (Friday, 10/23) to start setup. I will be there starting at 8:00am and intend to get all of the layout and major props in place so that we can put on the finishing touches Saturday morning and start shooting on time.

To make this match happen, I will need a few bodies on Friday to help with the initial phase of setup. I'll provide water/gatorade and will figure out something for lunch. You'll also get a discount on your match fee.

Please let me know if you are available to help. I am not preparing backup stages, so if we can't make this happen, there won't be a match.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello everyone!

Per our last email, for our final match of 2020, we are setting up to run the IDPA National Postal Match this weekend. This will run the same as a normal monthly match with a few minor exceptions. First off, if you want your scores to be uploaded to the IDPA website, you must have a current IDPA membership and classification in the division you plan to shoot and there will be an extra $15 fee to collect at registration time. Please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have a current membership and classification prior to registration. This extra fee goes directly to IDPA HQ to pay for match administration, awards, etc. and is in addition to our local club fee. You will also receive one point towards registration in the 2021 US National Championships. YOU DO NOT NEED TO AGREE TO SUBMIT YOUR SCORES IN ORDER TO SHOOT THE MATCH! This is still just a local match as far as most shooters are concerned. Shoot me an email if there are any questions, or get with me before registration if you are unclear on any of the details with regards to the National component of this match.

Please RSVP to jethomas303@gmail.com to reserve a shooting slot.

All the usual details are below.

Thank you and see you all Saturday!

Thank you everyone for braving the chilly morning to shoot our last match of 2020. A special thanks to those that helped finish setup this morning, but I would like to individually thank Mike Pritchard, Michael Bachmann and Russ Novelle for spending a cold Friday getting the bulk of the setup in place. It definitely made for a more relaxed morning as we finalized the stages.

Match results are below. For those of you that chose to have your scores included in the National results, it may take a few days or weeks for the scores to become official. If I see any specific announcements or information, I'll be sure to pass it along.

Thank you everyone for a great season in the middle of a crazy year. Hopefully things will be closer to normal by the time we fire back up next spring. I hope everyone has a great rest of the year, and we'll see you in a few months.

Sorry everyone, but work is going to keep me from prepping for a match this weekend. That doesn't happen to me very often but it's been a busy few weeks.

    We'll try again next month.

    Thanks
