Ours turns 30 this year! We give her shit saying, "If your mom became pregnant earlier, You'd be 40!"
I had to bake four cakes last week for my wife, daughter, son, and nephew. I really did think about dropping half a cake off at your house. But then I forgot. I'm at the airport now, but I am sure my wife won't mind if you show up and demand cupcakes.

Math is tough. Let's go shopping!

Handsome young man and I bet he has a LOT of energy. Enjoy the kids while we can. My oldest daughter will be 49 this year.

Enjoy him now. You'll regret later it if you don't. I suggest spending as much time as possible with him and try not to get too mad at him. Even if he deserves it. You'll only regret that later. There's plenty of time and opportunity to kick his ass once he hits puberty. Once that happens, he's gone. Until he hits 25-30. Then he'll start to be your best friend again.

Nice lookin' kid BTW. This really IS the best age. The next couple of years are AWESOME! Disney movies, Disney Channel, Nick, Bob the Builder, Toy Story, etc. Eat it up and play to his level. Don't try and make him the 'advanced' kid that plays with 6 yo toys at 3. It's tempting to push him but from experience it's better to let them be. It'll happen soon enough. Also, once they lose their innocence, it's gone forever. I was given that bit of advice and took it to heart.

Most of all just tell him you love him EVERYDAY at least once. More if you can. Make him feel as though your love is to be taken for granted. He'll just think it's completely normal to hear it from you, constantly. He'll never doubt your love for him when he's older and doesn't want to hear it anymore. You know you've done your job if your child feels unconditionally loved and takes it for granted. Life will show him how special your love is. You do not need to teach him that lesson. I hope I'm conveying what I mean by that. The fact is he loves you unconditionally now because that's all he knows.
