much more likely that Reid is going to see what the fallout in CO really is before pushing. If there is minimal fallout expect it to return with added fury.

He's too starry-eyed with ambition and dreams of grandeur to notice.

Agreed. They are waiting to see how we react to the new legislation here in Colorado. If we swing back to an all red state, they will know it is unpopular and may result in election losses (which is all they truly care about anyway). They can afford to lose Colorado for presidential elections, our 9 electoral votes don't make that big of a difference. I am convinced we are the test state and it is truly important to fight this new legislation as hard as we possibly can.

That is very good news. Looks like DC is taking their cues from Colorado. Now, we have to put Pro-2A lawmakers into office in 2014, and stop this assault on "assault weapons."

Spot on. Even after the governor signs the bill we need to go "New York" on them and refuse to accept these unconstitutional laws and not comply with them. This fight needs to continue until these laws are repealed.

The problem is that like in the movie Inception, the idea has been planted in the brains of the masses that guns are bad and they need to be banned. No coincidence either, as this is a well planned strategy on the anti-gunners part. That want to see how hard they can poke the bear before it bites back. Another mass shooting will happen, Feinstein, Bloomberg, the media and their cronies will say "I told you so", more and more folks will start to believe the idea that "guns are bad" and need to be banned and more and more anti-gun legislation is passed.
Unfortunately, I think this will ultimately play out in one of two ugly scenarios: A) the anti-gunners will continue this process of death by a thousand cuts until we've bled out or B) citizens revolt
