Default Got my Pmags today from Magpul....

    .....and no dust covers.

I'm not bitching but is this normal now?
Everywhere else I've got them from has the dust covers.

Does the package say "MOE"? MOE PMags don't include dust covers.

That was a change I noticed in the description when I ordered mine for the mag drop.

This came up in the Airlift thread. I was surprised too when I got mine, but it's because I didn't read the description on their site. It doesn't really bother me; I don't even use the dust covers I already had.

    From the Magpul store:

The PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M2 MOE is a 30-round 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M4 compatible magazine that offers a cost competitive upgrade from the aluminum USGI. It features an impact resistant polymer construction, easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction, resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance, and an anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The GEN M2 MOE is identical in form and function to the older model PMAG except that the optional Impact/Dust Cover is now sold separately.

I bought some in November that came with dust covers but the ones I just got from Magpul don't. I think it was a change in production when the 3's came out.

Got mine yesterday...no shipping confirmation, just showed up...not complaining.

Same boat here last week. Mags just showed up on my doorstep like the Magpul Fairy had stopped by. A very welcome surprise.

My Gen3's had the dust covers, the Gen2's did not. I am very happy with both sets though. In light of the airdrop I picked up a MBUS rear sight as a meager little token to Magpul. It's a damn shame to lose a Colorado company that started in a basement and grew into a (purported) half-billion dollar business.
