English isn't my first language. Typos happen.
Same page... once again.
I've been called a baby killer before, "Army huh? So kill any Iraqi babies lately" and more insidious and vitriolic statements made to my face... I've never been to Iraq in my life (Afghanistan- yes, Kuwait- yes) Took all my self control not to beat someone to within inches of their life. I just smiled and turned the other cheek. Seriously, these kinds of people make me sick, and I really hope they have an accident with a wood chipper someday soon.
"There is no news in the truth, and no truth in the news."
"The revolution will not be televised... Instead it will be filmed from multiple angles via cell phone cameras, promptly uploaded to YouTube, Tweeted about, and then shared on Facebook, pending a Wi-Fi connection."
That is pathetic that someone would ever build that picture to start. Makes me wish I lived in the era when soldiers were welcomed home with parades and treated with respect. It's probably the same people who want more gun control laws, and then threaten to murder you and your family if you are against it. Sad excuses for a human being. God bless our soldiers
The OP should delete this - we're not going to be able to "fight this" kind of liberal stupidity, and it's getting more attention than it deserves.
I hate to think how many yellow package MRE's I shoved out of my helicopter in Afghanistan. And asking any vet who has been in either OIF or OEF if they shot anybody is the worst question you can ask. If they didn't you can make them feel like they didn't do as much as others, or if they did you're likely opening an emotional scar they may be trying to forget about.
