    Default Colorado AV's hockey

whats the best way to go see a hockey game (get tickets)?

I haven't seen a pro hockey game since the Rockies were the local team (yeah, I'm dating myself here)

King Soopers is a pretty decent place to get 'cheap' Rockies (baseball) tickets, but I'm not sure whats up with the AV's.. I imagine they're a pretty hot commodity like the Bronco's.

At least you're a cheap date.

Being able to find tickets will depend on how poorly the team is doing. I usually get invites from vendors. If you know someone that has season tickets or is splitting season tickets, you can probably pick up some of the less popular games or ones that conflict with major holidays.

I would call the Pepsi Center, they're helpful with single game tickets.

And if you watch the eBay auctions you may get lucky. I'm selling some of my Broncos season tickets on ebay so I've been watching some of the auctions to see if they sell. I saw some Broncos vs. Chargers tickets go for less then the person paid for them.

I'll bet if you keep an eye on some of the Avs tickets you could pick some up for less then you'd pay for them from the Pepsi Center.

I went to a few games last season, we got the tickets for face value off Craigslist. There are also "legit" scalpers selling outside the arena at face value. One of the DPD officers said it was legal to purchase at or below face value from a scalper outside.

Live games are the best. I have a cousin that works for the Avs. So we get to go quite a bit. The only problem is I am a Redwings fan. So I have to beg for tix when he has them. It's ok games are still fun I get to cheer against the Avs, piss hubby off since he is an Avs fan.
