Default Someone Needs to do a FOIA

I would like to see the numbers of people who contacted the Governor for and against the firearm bills. This may also be fuel for getting him ousted.

As we speak, his aides are busy deleting emails and shredding letters. Good luck with that.

Irrelevant. It was never ever about public opinion, or which side gets too many emails.

This whole "play" they put on was a political move in line with the "Colorado Model."

Let me ask this. If you lived in another state, as a normal right leaning gun owner, would you move here now? And how many right leaning gun owners are looking to leave the state?
Now, you're a pot smoking, democrat voting filthy hippy from California, or an uptight hardcore lib from the east coast. The welcome mat has been rolled out, and you're packing your bags.

Thus, cementing the left's hold on this state. This was never about guns directly, or else the laws would have been better written, and at least one of those so-called "wavering democrats" would have voted for freedom. Nope, this was all scripted from the very beginning.

Right now, there's 3 things to do.
Collect $$ and put up billboards calling those politicians out. I'd love to see one calling Morse the fascist that he is right in the middle of Manitou. There's lots of options, point out things like a father showing his son how to shoot is now a felon. How the Geneva Convention prohibits collective punishment, such as taking away everyone's rights due to the actions of a few law breakers. Phrase things so that the average low intelligence Democrat may get the idea.

Send $$ to the Second Amendment Foundation, so that they can fund and support the first lawsuits that will come down, hopefully overturning the laws. Someone's either going to get caught and arrested, or during one of the protests get arrested. This will be an interesting idea: In order to protest the actions of the government, we want to carry 30 round mags to the capital, but that's banned by Denver. Freedom of speech should rule in this case, since it's so important to our rights. While the NRA and RMGO tend to focus more on the legislative side of things, it's the SAF that provides funds for the court fights.

Finally, send $$ to the recall movements. Volunteer to collect signatures. Force them to spend campaign money to fight against the recall movements, so we win even if they don't get recalled. Hickenlooper has national ideas now, it won't look as good to even have a failed recall movement against him.

I found it interesting that the WH refused entry to the 2AFoundation when they had that WH dog & pony sit down about gun control with the nRA and select "voices" of the gun industry.

Tells me how much the WH fears organizations like the 2AF, which means they're OK in my book.

I was thinking the same thing. Would be really interesting to see the numbers on that.

it was more than likely overwhelming. you don't hear about the people calling in and telling him to sign it. probably never will. just being down at the capitol and seeing the numbers there was more than enough to show the majority said no to all of this.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.
