I first met Rich when his shop was in a old house on Wadsworth. He worked with me and I bought a Colt 1911 at a good price (less than Jax or RMSH were selling for) and got a box of Hornady self defense ammo, a soft case and a CCW class all part of the deal. I have done other business with Rich and I don't have any problem with him. He has always been straight up with me and on occasion we have agreed to disagree. I like his various collections of older military firearms. That being said, I would never allow my guns to be smithed at Gunsmoke. No offense intended but he hires his smiths straight out of school and I just don't want my guns worked on by a smith that is not experienced in the art.

If he is in trouble, well I am sure that it is his own doing and I wish him and his family the best.
