"I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it."
- Clint Eastwood
He's done man. They're going to chew him up and spit out what's left in a few years.
He came to our campus for a dinner a few months back... Rich asked if I would like to talk to him (after finding out I was one of the gunsmithing students), I said no, and laughed as I walked away.........
If you make something idiot proof, someone will make a better idiot... Forget youth, what we need is a fountain of smart. There are no stupid questions, just a lot of inquisitive idiots.Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome. --Isaac AsimovLike, where's spyder been? That guy was like, totally cool and stuff. - foxtrot
The show itself was largely staged. Like the majority of the shows on Discovery, these days are staged to some degree.
1. There isn't a workshop in or under the main store
2. Many of the guns, silver, motorcycles, hookers traded on the show for other shit, were never sold, never part of any collection, was really just TV
3. Rich actually is a fairly knowledgeable gunsmith, but he has diarrhea of the mouth so often you don't know what is real or what is shit.
4. The guy does have money, though there is a real chance the IRS is going to take it for a ride.
I know people that really like the guy. I have had 5 different conversations with the man. Two of them were really positive, three of them caused me to wonder what planet he lived on.
the reality is the lines of fact and fiction have been so blurred with the guy, and so many people have had completely different expereinces with him, it makes you wonder if he has some sort of personality disorder

Maybe he'll auction off a few family members to get square with Uncle Sam. I should start saving nickels... ;-)
not a fan of gun smoke , its staff , or its business practices
one less shady dealer out there ,not a loss but a gain towards a better community of gun owners
The only contact I ever had with Wyatt was his elbow in my ribs as he and the giraffe pushed by me to talk to his buddy Will from Sons of Guns at SHOT 2012. Just a bit rude...from what others have said, it seems he can be very nice when he wants to be...
"Guilty of collusion"
I generally dislike anyone that tries to bully me, my family or my friends off of public lands while we are doing a range cleanup.
I still remember the production managers face. He told me we had to leave because they were filing "either leave or sign a consent"
Me: "Let's see your Production permit for the national park... How about we call a Ranger and the sheriff to discuss this."

Heard it too. Liek the guy or not (i am in the latter, from way back when) It is possible, being a high profile business, someone, within the co.gov, has a herdon for him and now's the time to strike. Flip side is YOU NEVER FLASH WEALTH IN PUBLIC, IF YOU'RE not able to show 2-3x it as income.

I'm gonna stop by there today- scope the place out and see what's up.
