Default Braved Blizzard for Gun SHow

Went to the gunshow in Douglas County yesterday, braved the blizzard.lol..... Bought some feed for my protection but not enough to please me. The guys I usually buy from were sorely low on feed I really wanted. What I did notice, the guys that had good stuff were gouging prices. I saw mags that I just paid 12.95 from our Colorado friend were going for 40.00 and up and the feed for them was going for about 1.25 to 2.00 per. Just an observation and am compiling a list of people I ill support after this nonsense goes away.

On another note, there is talk about making feed so high no one will aford it... I do mean legal, hard working, tax paying common American citizens won't be able to afford it. Again the meth using, crack head pieces of shit will just steal what they need for their GUNS that the guberment will not find. I truly beleive the guberment is supporting these peices of shit to pull bullshit and the taxpaying law abiding Amercain citizens....

Well, I certainly hope that the "gougers" will get theirs when the time comes.

You went to a gun show and were surprised they were asking what you feel to be high prices?

Like talking to a fuckin' wall. Or a whiny-assed liberal. Same, same...

I have cash in hand for any of you people bitching and moaning about "price gouging" that want to sell me your Colt M4 rifles for $1075, your .308 ammo for .40 cents a round, your 5.56 ammo for .28 cents a round. Step right up and put your money where your mouth is. I'll be more than happy to make you feel morally superior for not charging more than what your guns/ammo are "worth". That's what I bought those items for last summer...8 months ago. Don't want you to feel bad for overcharging or anything. Really. I'm doing you a favor.

Apparently the "gougers" already have theirs. That's why they can sell it for what people are willing to pay.

For the record, who are you calling a whiney ass liberal,???? The stuff I need to buy is stll at "my" pricethat I am willing to pay. Magpul gave deals to Coloradoans, then guys at the show were charging 3-4 times what magpul was selling them for...I just didn't buy any... and won't in the future, my right as a consumer.

That is the great thing about supply and demand... the ball is ultimately in the consumer's court. You the consumer have ALL the choice. You can choose to pay higher than normal prices. You can choose not to give those (whom you think are gouging) a single dime. I pay attention to those who are raising their prices astronomically. I take note of the ones who aren't. When the dust settles... the ball will still be in MY court. I get to decide if I think a company has earned my business. I'll gravitate towards and reward those who didn't raise their prices as high. If the consumer didn't pay those high prices... those companies would have to lower their prices. But as long as there are those willing to pay those high(er) prices... there will be companies who will gladly take their money.

Blaming firearms retailers for high prices right now is like blaming pro-gun democrats for the outcome of the election. If you want to point the finger at someone... maybe you should point the finger at those who are actually responsible (those who continue to pay the higher prices).

Is harder to find, but there are good deals out there if you're willing to look. Picked up a half case of Ranger SXT +p for my .45 a few weeks ago at .50 a round.

While i am not surprised at some of the "selling" prices, i am surprised how fast said items sell. I have things that will eventually be up for sale when i do i will post at prices that reflect the Current Market Value.
Once again i see "issue" with prices yet see some of the same people have no issue posting their items for the CMV too.
Today's prices are nothing compared to what the market will be as we get closer to July 1st. Those of use who remember 1999 and the "panic" can tell you as dec approached a USED AR15 reached the $2-3K mark easy in CA. Expect to see similar pricing when may-june rolls around here, if not more.
There is no Gouging, what you see is what the market dictates. Don't like it , don't buy it.
