    Default Best way to remove glue residue?

    Gonna take off my talon grips. What's a good method to remove the glue residue?

    Acetone or denatured alcohol.

    I use 3m adhesive remover in the aerosol can I got mine at taco zone, but I'm sure any auto supply store sells it.

    The 3M remover IS the shit, and you can weaken it a little bit with windex if you feel you need to. Dampen a cloth with it, don't just pour it all over the place.

    Car-15...I almost had a monitor incident when I read Taco Zone.... thx for the laugh on that.

    Adhesive remover works, WD40 also works. Have to be careful with acetone/alcohol on some plastics.

    This. Always try a small area to see how it reacts. You can also use making tape to "tack" it off. I have also used baking soda on delicate paint situations.

    i use the goo gone and it works great. i have tried every method imaginable and finally sprung for the store bought stuff and it works.
