LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Gun stores in areas that Comcast Cable serves are looking for new ways to advertise after the cable provider said it would not accept firearm and ammunition commercials.
Comcast (CMCSA), the nation's largest cable-TV company, made the decision last month after it finalized its purchase of media company NBCUniversal, which Adweek magazine said has had a long-standing in place banning those items and fireworks.

I dumped satellite 4 years ago. Was $70 a month. I used the money to buy silver coins. Started watching free DVD's from the local library. I made a few hundred per cent profit on the silver coins...still got em too.

Capitalist gouger. (OK...not really since you still have them. But you are if you sell them at a "few hundred per cent profit".)

I don't know why I pay for satellite. I rarely watch TV. I wouldn't pay for Comcast if it was the only entertainment on earth.

I canceled Satellite a few years back as well. With all the apps available on the iPad plus NetFlix, Hulu, etc - what is the point?
