    Shot at twice, no hits.

More than enough to convince me I don't want the experience to compare to.

I guess that just about covers being over circumsized.

Never been shot but I did manage to sink a Garand bayonet 2" in my leg though. Not fun and pulling it out sucks.....

Went with the wife to her company Christmas party that was pushed into Jan. due to the owner being out of country. We left there and were walking back to the car and two thug trash P.O.S.'s walked by us and tried to pick a fight. I stood my ground and Jess (wife) stood inbetween us and one of them pushed her down. Well I lost it and socked the first guy and I thought I had knocked him out, I was working over the second guy when he came from behind me, and stuck a blade through the right side of my chest. It actually knocked me out for a second, but I got back up ready to go and Jess started screaming and ran and over grabbed me. The two guys took off running and I remember a few guys running after them, the Police and EMT's showing up, and I walked into the ambulance and passed out. Woke up in an MRI and freaked out, the doctor calmed me down and I passed back out. Got woke up by the an Officer Brooke's of the denver Pd and the doctor. The doctor said I flatlined twice during the night and they had to give me 13 pints of blood total over the course of the night. He also said the Knife would've gone all the way through but my rib stopped it from coming out my back so he guessed the blade was 8-10" long. I left my carry in the car because we were drinking, hard lesson learned, also was the last time I stepped foot in LODO. I guess I'm pretty lucky to still be here.

I remembered the first time you told this story, and I tried to use it as an example of what happens when you get stabbed when I was on a jury duty for a stabbing. The other dimwit jurors wouldn't have it though and everyone wanted to let the guy off. Thanks for telling the story again.
