Zeroed the "new" UZI, (24+ years old, but new to me), today at 50m in about 23 rounds. Hits silhouette sized steel at 100m all day with the irons now. Pistol steel at 25m feels like cheating. Once the cover with a mounted Burris was properly secured, it was definitely cheating. Like AK top cover mounts, a tight fit made all the difference in the world. Shot about 300 rounds thru it, with only (2) FTF and (1) FTE that somehow got stuck in the barrel backwards. Nothing a poke with a cleaning rod couldn't fix. That was at about 200 rounds, so did a quick cleaning and ran the next 100 rounds without a hiccup.
When it was all said and done, I switched back to the original cover and handguards, as the best part of an UZI for me is that it's "old school" and I'd rather keep it that way...
