    Default Bobcat sighting!

My husband and I are Colorado natives and neither one of us has ever seen one of these. It ran about 50 yards in front of our truck then stopped long enough so we could take some pics. We saw it again a couple of minutes later bounding across another property. This made our trip to the mountains a very memorable one.

Thanks! I had no idea how big they really are. At first I thought it was a big fat dog running around. It must have been the size of a Rottweiler.

I saw one near Florence,CO around 1996. It was on the site of the old Florence mining mill. Only one I have ever seen.
