No, not by a BB gun. The story of your great uncle in 1967 doesn't count either. Has any forum member ever been shot by a bullet? I would love to hear you describe how it felt.

Lessons cost money. Good ones cost lots. -Tony Beets
I haven't been shot but I bet it hurts.
You need to order a copy of this book: LEAD POISONING . . . it is hardcover, and used copies are ten bucks.
Not me. But I think I would rather get shot than stabbed. The thought of getting stabbed just creeps me out.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

Probably a few vets here that have, but it's a pretty traumatic experience. Might not get one to talk about it.
I had a 45 caliber hole in my leg for a while. I was teaching a lady how to shoot and she had an "accidental" discharge at point blank range. To be honest, I didn't even know I had been shot. It was a 230gr FMJ that went through the inside of my right thigh. The pain was the worst over the next couple of days. My upper right leg was a solid bruise.
