Um yeah........ I think I'd try to woo the dog first, if we were in a "repopulatin' the species" type of situation.

That definitely looks more like a pit bull than a mastiff and the leash doesn't look broken at all. More likely, they just didn't exercise safe dog handling and another innocent victim suffered for it. I think I'm going to make a bumper sticker: Mark Kelly's dog has killed more than any of my guns.

The story read that they "crated" the dog, then spoke to police. The dog broke from his leash. The police then said no laws were broken? I guess you can't arrest a dog. Lucky for him. Elitist bastards!!!

100% sure its an American Bulldog. I have one.
Mine would have probably done the same thing if my wife had ahold of him. With a dog that weights 100 lbs not much can hold them back. Only difference is I know that my American Bulldog could possible to that so he doesnt leave our house. Its unfortunate and I dont know what I did wrong but as a responsible pet owner I know not to put my pet in a situation where something could happen.
My EDC: Handcuffs, Bandana, and Ball Gag.
If I'm ever at a party and the cops come to arrest people. Ill blindfold myself, throw the ball gag in, handcuff my hands, and hide in a closet. Police never arrest hostages!
