Les Fletcher of Plano, TX ripped me off on Armslist - need ideas

3 things here...
Paypal + gift purchases do not work, I walk when someone says this. I ask for a transaction of laminated wood or injection molded plastic...
Armslist is a FTF deal only.
Consider it a 500$ stupid tax. You have learned your lesson, now continue flaming the guy on all the forums and armslist...

This really sucks, and I'm sorry to hear about this. Sometimes trying to save a buck costs you more in the long run. I'm going though the same thing with a billet upper, but it's a manufacturer with no paypal and a CC...

I have not read the whole thread but have read enough to know I am also working through a BS transaction off Armslist that sounds very similar. I will go into more detail shortly if this goes the same way. I feel for ya.

Bet he still has the product and says his girlfriend forgot to mail them. Will say he was out of the country and she was supposed to handle the shipping. Or some other mixup and he will refund the money. Only thing that got his attention was your research and the demand letter. If he had really sent them, I would think he would have been on it right away with tracking numbers.

After sending an email to another company Les supposedly works for, I received a call from Les. He was ranting on about how he was out of the country, and had to take care of personal stuff, and that, get this, his assistant at the company was supposed to have mailed out the package. He was pissed off that I was threatening legal action and that I started this thread. Not one time did he apologize for the "mix-up." I gave him my address again, and he said they would be mailed out the next day. I also received an email from his employer's "Hunan" Resources Department stating the same thing Les told me on the phone.

Long story short, I FINALLY GOT MY BCGs! Ordered and paid for on 21 Feb - Delivered on 28 May.

I edited the first post and the title of this thread to reflect the fact that Les Fletcher ALMOST ripped me off.

I would go crazy if I did not receive my stuff within 3weeks. You patiently waited +3month. Give you a prop for it.
I had to join MGO (MichiganGu nOwners) once, because a guy at HKpro would not ship the package to me. After joining his local gunforum, it was shipped immediately. haha
