I sure as hell hope there is a rally planned on that day! It needs to be seen that we are NOT ok with the recent laws that were passed. And it needs to be seen not just here in this state but all over the country! I'll get in touch with the guy who put together the Guns Across America rally and see if there are plans for a gathering next week. If not... we should still try and get people and signs out there.

You won't be able to get within 3 blocks of him. Expect to see the area saturated with plainclothes feds. Expect to see backscatter vans parked on the streets. There are some new "anti-protest" laws I've heard about that allegedly make it a felony to protest within a certain distance of POTUS now, but I'm sure his security detail will have that line in the sand clearly marked.

Its funny, Obama is worried we'll "forget" about Sandy Hook. Talk about using fear mongering to push an agenda!

The president, in a set of brief remarks from the White House Thursday surrounded by the mothers of shooting victims, raised concern that the shock from the Newtown elementary school shooting could soon fade.
"Less than 100 days ago that happened. ... Shame on us if we've forgotten," Obama said. "I haven't forgotten those kids. Shame on us if we've forgotten."

It's quite possible that he's setting up another 'tragedy' to 'help us not forget'...

I like that idea also. But my guess is if they took away your 1st amendment right by not allowing you to peacefully assemble near anyone with secret service protection... I'm sure they'll have authorities watching out for sign posters and they'll probably fine you for "littering" and/or defacing property at the very least.
