Default 2 questions about BGC bill

So I want to buy 2 Thompson Center youth rifles 1 for my 6 yo niece and one for my unborn niece. I will not have the money before July 1st, So will I still be able to gift them rifles?

Question 2, I also have plans to buy my mother and two sisters pistols eventually, none of them are prohibited from firearm ownership, how the hell does this work? Maybe take them to the store let them pick em' out and do the BGC? And me pay? I want it to be a surprise is the main thing.

I am not dead set on the Thompson either, if any one has a better idea lets hear it. NO plastic other than furniture, would prefer bolt/break/ pump ov.er semi auto. They will both be getting AR's in 5.56 when big & responsible enough

You are allowed to give a bonafide gift to your family members without a background check. All of those people would be covered under that.
