    If it was an A2, you need to get a different buffer like this:

    is you buffer around 3 inches long, or more like 5-6?

    you need the one on the right, if it looks like the one on the left that is your prob.

    Ok, so it sounds like you started with the one on the left, but replaced the tube and with one like in the middle while using the spring and the buffer from the one on the left. Correct?



    If so you just need a carbine spring and buffer
