    Default Senate Bill 13-140

Not sure if this has been posted. Not likely to pass but it could be cool if it did.

Uhh, Colorado has already passed "stronger" gun laws than the feds have. I'm not sure what purpose this would serve if it did pass at this point.

Interesting, contradicts 1224 all over the place. I would say we want this to pass, then have 1224 thrown out in court.

I agree on wanting it to pass. Yes it also contradicts what the states is trying to do. I do not think it will help us with the mag ban tho. If I am not mistaken it will trump federal law, not state law. If the feds try a semi auto rifle ban this bill would help us. If the state, however, were to pass the same ban then we would still be screwed. Still would be a win for us.

Federal law trumps state law... for example weed is still illegal in the US and the DEA or other agencies can still crack down on Colorado dispensaries/growers.
