    Default Larue OBR Order Time

I know a couple others here have OBRs on order and I’m curious if you’ve received any updates or info on delivery time.

I ordered in mid Dec and I was told 4 – 6 months at the time. I just spoke with them again while I was placing another order and I was told mid 2014 on my OBR order.

308? I was going to order 5.56 along with a friend, but changed my mind because of the quoted 8 months waiting time. He got his in 6 months.

LaRue will *NOT* give lead times right now - other than "Its going to be a long wait..."

I put my order in November for a .308 OBR - I am guessing it will be ready in June of 2014. If it's sooner - yeah me!

If you are really really curious you can go to the tracking thread on the LaRue forums. Bunch of people have entered in their order numbers and when they receive stuff. By one person's guess they have ~60k rifles to build.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

I can only imagine how much backorder they have this year.

Actually they will but they may just be giving a current worst case scenario. 15 month from now on a .556 ordered in Dec is what I was told this morning.

8-12 months is what a little bird told me. Top end parts sourced from outside are the hold up.

Good news is... LaRue won't be going out of business anytime soon. I want to get a .308 system from them, but I'll hold off until I can actually get one without waiting so long I forgot I ordered.

What is your order for? Sounds like the mid 2014 may be accurate.
