I am happy I purchased it new, the gas key and A2 sight post are properly staked and the BCG seems to be proper mil-spec, at a very fair price. RGuns historically has been hit or miss. They have had some serious quality control issues in the mating of their upper and lowers, the coating being too thick, holes being slightly too small, or misaligned. They have worked on their quality control some, but I can spend an extra $15 somewhere else and get a product with a better track record I will.

That said I have 2 stripped Rock River lowers that I've used in builds which I am very happy with and a few years back they had some QA issues as well, though they have been rockstars since then.
