The .22 beltfed is a real hoot... if only I had a better way to load the belts, and some more belts, and some bigger belts, and some of the plastic links.

It's turned out to be a bit ammo sensitive, and only runs well with Rem. golden bullet. Both the beltfed and my regular mag-fed ceiner .22 kit like the golden bullet, but don't run so well with the slightly cheaper federal bulk stuff. It seems underpowered.

Anyway, the beltfed runs really well when squeaky clean and well lubed, but after five or six belts it starts having ejection and feeding issues, and kinda needs to be cleaned again. I made a heavier, all-metal charging handle to reduce the rate of fire, but I might have made it a bit too heavy, as it doesn't run as reliably using the heavy handle as it does with the stock, light plastic handle.

I'm in the process of acquiring a set of spade grips from KNS for its host M16 to make it the coolest little beltfed in town.
