MBUS Standard or PTS

Got another M&P 15-22 and don't like the stock sights. Will the Magpul PTS sights hold up on the 22 or should I put the real thing on it? I have never seen the PTS sights so I am not sure if they are junk.

if your just plinking they are fine, but if your going to run it hard, do competitions, etc...get the real stuff.

Real ones are only $40, i'd spend just a little bit more and get the real thing. That way you can reuse it later if you want.

Well, I cheaped out and got a set of PTS sights off eBay for 15 bucks shipped. They are pretty much worth the cost and nothing more. The Front sight is pretty solid but the back not so much. I am only going to keep the front sight on for now to give me something to index my thumb on like my other rifles. I will look for the real things and get them when I find a decent deal.
