While those who currently have high-capacity magazines would be able to keep them and reuse them if they wished, they would not be able to purchase new high-capacity magazines or transfer them to others. The availability of these assault magazines to criminals and the mentally ill would thus be greatly reduced over time.

She has no clue how many are out there. Sale of "new" mags was stopped for 10 years, it did nothing. Totally clueless. IMO it would take 100+ years to see a dent. I have mags that were made in the 50's still going strong.

I like the comment, "These things will greatly reduce over time." Sure, in the hands of law-abiding citizens they will. However, criminals don't give a crap about laws (as if she has a clue about that anyway). Also, I know there are going to be A LOT of current law-abiding citizens who are going to say, "Screw her and her laws. I'll get my magazines elsewhere and that is that." I don't blame them either. Certain magazines are very hard to come by right now with the current nonsense going on.

Get it right Fields son WAS NOT A GANG BANGER He witnessed a killing and was Man enough to not only identify the shooter, but willing to testify. Which is more than i could say for some members of this board.

As much as Bounced check Fields is a POS her son was doing the right thing, and paid with his life.
