Wish we could hear something like this from Douglas County sheriff. Weaver finally did send out a letter on Friday, but this is the first I've heard from him. In the past I haven't paid that much attention to candidates for sheriff. But you can bet I will be thoroughly investigating the candidates from now on. We'll be getting a new sheriff in Douglas since Weaver is term limited. Would be great if we can elect someone who will take a stand like Justin Smith and Terry Maketa have. I love those guys!
