    Default Swaging Question?

    Hi folks!

Now that I am getting deeper into my mil stock of 5.56 ammo I have finally found the need to swage the primer pockets.

What do you all use to do this?

I was thinking about the Dillon Super Swage 600 but was wondering what works best for you....

I also have a buddy that has thousands of rounds of 9mm that are NATO headstamped....he would be willing to go in with me on the swager if it will work for his mil 9mm brass. Personally I have so much 9mm it is not an issue for me but thought I would ask.

    Thanks everyone!

    Mike

If you can find some one to split cost with you so much the better. I use a donated dillon and now looking at fabricating something up for the 650.

I have a 650.. Wish I would have bought a 1050 for just this reason.. The 600 swager works - but it would have been so much nicer to have it as part of my progression....
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

The only thing holding me back from a 1050 is the 1yr warranty, since it is considered a "commercial" reloader.

Dont let that hold you back. I have been using 1050s for 15-ish years and have never needed to get a part replaced that was not my fault for being a dumbass.

would love to have a 1050 but this is what I use http://www.midwayusa.com/product/253...ter-head-small. It's not swaging, but does the job. Chuck it in a drill and you can do a boatload of brass in no time.
