Default ATF yanks firearms license of shop that sold guns used in Newtown shooting

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...guns-used-new/

Okay, so the shop sold both weapons to Lanza's mother but everything I've read said her purchases were legal. It's not like she was a straw purchaser much less the shop knowing about a straw purchase, she shot them herself. Just how in hell does ATF yank the shop's license because she failed to secure her firearms and gave access to someone with severe emotional problems?

The ATF has to look like they are doing something.

If all laws/rules were followed by the gun shop, why are they now being targeted?

When the ATF went in to investigate the Lanza issue and didn't find anything amiss with those purchases, they might have found other issues that needed addressing.

I'm thinking it's just sensationalism, or what we now know as "normal liberal MSM tactics." Same gun store that sold to Mrs. Lanza, different reason to have their license yanked. Either that or we truly are seeing Enemies, Foreign and Domestic coming true...

"Raw Story reported that the permit of Riverview Gun Sales, located in East Windsor, was pulled in December for a period of review. But the 60-day appeal timeframe has come to an end, and the shop has lost its license."

Sounds like it was pulled for "routine" investigation purposes and the owner did not fight to have it reinstated.
I bet they'll open under a different name, in a different location, to avoid the infamy.

That's my guess as well. Probably some lame crap. If you dig deep enough anywhere you can find things people have done wrong.

This would be a wise move. You never know though, maybe the owner has a conscience and was devastated by the event and said to hell with it.

I think the ATF had their foot in the door right after the Newton deal when the guy stole an Ar from there. Picked it up off the counter and walked right out the front door. Either way, sucks to see them shut a shop down

Under the Marxist-Muslim Obama administration, apparently you are a "straw purchaser" if someone enters your home, kills you and steals your firearms.
