Born in Grand Junction in 67 and lived here all but 2 yrs since then.
ETA - No longer think it is the best place to live, work or play.

I was born in Greeley, moved around a lot as a kid to southern Colorado, Oregon and Wyoming. I moved back for school 8 years ago.
I love the state but with the change in politics, a move is on my mind.
Retired in year 1992 and then moved from Illinois to Colorado in 1995 to escape the bull shit gun laws they had back there. Now, we are quickly catching up with Illinois with our new gun restrictions. My Great Grampa had a couple gold mines in Cripple Creek and Victor but apparently made only enough to survive. He's buried in one of those two towns. Colorado is still a great State, it's just our wacky Representatives that I am sick of.
