How do you get your brass back?![]()
Cherry creek sux big balls
Trust me I left with what I came with and some other specific head-stamps and calibers I was looking for after I sorted through a bag of brass I gathered up from the cement in front of the firing line. What I was shooting was Berdan primed milsurp so I will not be reloading it.

I think I see our member who works for Cherry Creek, Chris, chatting it up with our ex member, MB888 in the background around 2:19. Good shooting btw!
You know it is all about personal preference how much interaction you want with staff and much of that can be based on experience level and your interpersonal social skills, in my case I am all about leave me the hell alone don't offer advice and quit touching my stuff. As you can imagine I do not come off as a social butterfly at times. I really do not need to hear about letting my weapon cool before casing it or take kindly to unsolicited interaction (a major fault of mine as I come off the wrong way at times to those that do not know me). I know they have to interact with everyone there as if they were the lowest common denominator from a safety standpoint (I dislike some of their safety practices and the manner in which they implement them). The seated only shooting there really makes me dislike the place as well. I can not complain though I have a membership out at CRC and just was not up for the drive today.
I agree with almost everything you said there. The only time I went there I rolled in with a couple of my buddies, all of us experienced shooter (competition and otherwise) and about $10k in hardware only to be treated by the range master like an idiotic teenager. He was hoverining around jumping on us for stupid crap until I basically could no longer hold it in and told him to piss off. I know they must deal with a lot of idiots there, but don't treat me like one until I do something to deserve it. For all of their faults the old range master at Dragonman was cool as could be, and only would offer advice if asked. He and I would also have impromptu shooting matches when he was training for Camp Perry if it was slow.
i hate going to places like the cherry creek unfun center . every state has a few of them and they all have a few busybodies that wont stay out of other peoples business .
most range trips for me
1. no i dont need you to tell me how to shoot
2. no i dont need a scope for 250 yards
3. no you cant touch my guns
4. no i didnt realize that in real world shooting they require 3 seconds between shots , guess ill be leaving now
Sweet set up!
Don't care for Cherry Creek either.....
That was lot of jibber-jabber in the background. How could you focus?
