    If you look through all of the survey results then you find that:

    56.7% of officers support some form of mandatory safety training before being able to purchase all or some types of firearms
    59.0% think that open carry is misguided in practice or believe that the concept and practice is a bad idea

    Some good parts, some bad parts. If the focus of gun control shifts from bans to training it is a huge win.

    They should teach firearms safety and general law to all children in the schools.
