Default What would you pay for a FN Scar 17

I've been looking to get a Scar 17 or another .308 type battle rifle ince the start of the year. It's going to be my B-day gift and will fill out my set. I think I have the offer to get a FDE scar 17 with 2 extra mags and sling factor new. Keep I mind that I'm willing to buy it I today's market.

This month. Wife gets a new bathroom and I get new rifle. I know the market is hot now but it's a bday gift for me and I don't know if I could get it next year given the stupidity of our elected leaders, especially the 20 round mags.

You should buy me one too... might get a small discount if you buy two.

I think in today's market (which is dying down) - $3200-3500. Thats just a SWAG

What every one said. Going rate is 3200-3600 on gb. I would like to pay 2900 or less for 17s.
Currently in the market for 16s, and they are going at around 2700-3100 on gb and other Trade forums.

Thanks. If anyone wants to sell me a factory new scar 17, let me know please. This going to be my biggie for the year and if not, I'll get another graphite 5 piece fly rod and a trip on the Madison river instead!!!

I paid $2650 but that was about 9 months or so ago. Had an offer of $5500, however being as I don't know where to lay my hands on one right away (especially another FDE) I passed. Plus I have 15 mags and it runs like a top, so I'm content. Now if my freaking ACOG would just get here!

PS. You may consider a POF, really nice rifles, heavier for sure, but if I didn't have my SCAR I would be all over one of these.
