    Default WTH When did....

So I went and added a few Ruger 10/22's to my collection today. I have always been a fan of the 22lr for plinking and now with the rising cost of ammo I figured after a few mods I can train with it and function 95% like a M1A and one or two outings they will be paid for.

Anyways when did Ruger go to polymer receivers?

    I might start shooting 3 gun with a 22lr....

Since when is the receiver polymer? We talked about the change to plastic trigger groups and barrel bands months ago.

Grooved trigger is a give-away that it has the plastic parts.

As of yesterday the one I picked up is polymer. The trigger group and barrel band are also polymer. I havent looked at a new 10/22 in several years I have one from the 80's still too, so I wasnt sure when this switch was made.

They're really not polymer. It's just a new crinkle-coat paint.
