I may have been asked the rifle or pistol question.. never really concerned me .. gotta show the ID either way .. and I'm way over the age or either so whats the diff?
and even in the "ghetto" wally world I go to .. no one seems to freak out at ammo. hell last time I bout a couple hundred rounds between shotgun, 45 and 223 all the counter lady said was " wow looks like your gunna have fun this weekend" ( I also had other obvious camping supplies I was picking up )
I'm just so happy when I buy ammo at good prices, unless they ask for my SSN, I'm giddy and OK with an extra few seconds during checkout.

"There are no finger prints under water."
I would have asked for a finger print cause you look like a sureno gang member. Security was watching you the whole time.
#1 Job in the world, being a Dad!
You know its going to snow/rain like mother nature is having a vaginal crisis resulting in a temper tantrum this Saturday. It's just normal for the IDPA match. Then Hoser will post it's cancelled due to weather. Then I'll respond with my "shocked" face. This has all played out before.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.
Anyone that thinks war is good is ignorant. Anyone that thinks war isn't needed is stupid.
I can't think of a time that I've bought ammo at Wal-Mart that I haven't been asked that.

I always ask for good deer hunting ammo in 9mm...
