This is the clueless part! Since humans have been warring there has been this issue with returning vets on all sides of any war. My understanding is that in WWI they called it "shell shocked". In WWII there is the famous slapping a wounded soldier by Patton who was suffering from it. My uncle almost killed his own son when he tried to wake him up one morning while Bo was "still in the jungle". He is much better now. It also does not require war to suffer from it. Rape is another common catalyst for the condition. By Fienstiens logic any woman who has been raped is a threat. Why are the people making these laws so unwilling to understand what they are making the laws about? At the CO. senate hearings we tried for hours to get them to understand simple things like magazines don't work like a shotgun tube. Just a dear in the headlight look until they were pulled aside after the testimony. Some of this coming from people that should know better, such as Morse. He showed himself as completely clueless! When I called them on it, the Senator on the panal called up Morse's history like that made the facts different some how. It is the blind leading the blind leading the sheep.
Here is a good link on the history: http://www.vva.org/archive/TheVetera...istoryPTSD.htm
