Lost a 15yr old family friend to something similar, riding a bicycle playing chicken on a dark highway.

The rest of the story for the family doesn't get any better.

The only good thing about some of these video playback shows and youtube is that my kids are smarter and get to see the outcome without having to try it themselves

Kids do dumb things this was really dumb

Dumbass. More chlorine is needed in the gene pool. I've always held that stupidity should hurt. In this case it actually did - for a few seconds for the dumb kid and a lifetime for the innocent train crew.

Trains are dangerous. BAN TRAINS NOW!

Is it sad I fins this story to be a happy one? Too many safety measures in the world now keeping stupid people from immediate realization of their stupidity. This young fool realized almost instantly how he had chosen... poorly.

Actually, it always does hurt. Unfortunately, it's usually those that come into contact with the afflicted that have the pain and not the carriers.

In this case, there was a culling of the herd.
