Explosions at Boston Marathon

I'm very concerned right now. I'm sitting in a booth at my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Loveland and there's a guy in a nearby booth who's wearing RUNNING SHOES.

Can you believe someone can be so insensitive to be wearing RUNNING SHOES in public within less than 24 hours of the biggest marathon massacre on US soil in the last decade? We really need to outlaw the public wearing of running shoes. I mean really, most of the people wearing these antagonistic shoes haven't run anywhere since 9th grade gym class! There's just no reason for them to go around brandishing these symbols of death and mayhem. I was so scared I barely finished my enchilada rancheras!

I'm chuckling a bit right now because I've already had a couple of PM's and now Jer's post re: my favorite Mexican food place in Loveland. Not to further hijack the thread, but my favorite is El Pueblito. It's on Eisenhower--behind the Wendy's. I like Mexican Inn real well, too, but don't go there nearly as much because it's on the far end of town.

Bah! That place ba-lows!! The Mexican Inn is alright depending on what you get but it is a decent distance away. Let me know when you're ready to run with the big dogs and we'll hit up El Cielo up the road from El Pueblito where we can get all you can eat Mexican food for under $6!

I know some of your are prayers. If you would please pray someone. She is a friend of my brother and sister in law. She was there with her husband and daughter. The daughter has injuries to both legs as a result of shrapnel and she has had both of her legs blown off as a result of the explosion. She is currently in critical condition at a Boston area hospital.

So sorry to hear.

I just found out a very high ranking member of my company's son was injured in one of the blasts and is currently being treated. No words on his injuries.
