The Boston Marathon is an international event. That doesn't immediately make me think that some foreigner in attendance is there for some nefarious reason.

Great question.... does the 911 service still work for Cell Phones, when they've taken them "down"? If not, hundreds of thousands of citizens in the area probably have no immediate way to contact emergency services if something were to happen to/near them. Landlines are a dying breed.

I'm thinking not a domestic attack. Just doesn't feel right in a hotel lobby. That happens often in other countries. Domestic types with political motives...I'm thinking a gov't building would've been targeted. Pure, uneducated speculation.

If indeed it was a domestic attack from the right, yes it would be a government building, not a random gathering of people.

If it was a domestic attack from the left (likely to be used to discredit the right) this would be an ideal target. Same goes for the Muzzies.
