What do you all think our chances are of repealing the mag ban and BCG bill? Good or bad? And why. With sources if you please

Mag ban is a possible, based on a "reasonable man" standard: The language deprives property owners of their rights without due compensation or due process, and is unconstitutionally vague, placing persons in the position of possibly violating the law depending on the interpretation. It won't be overturned on Second Amendment grounds, the best bet for a Constitutional challenge would be under the 5th, 6th, or 14th Amendments.

If the laws of NY, IL, and CA have been permitted to not only stand, but actually become more restrictive, over decades . . . I do not foresee the Colorado law being overturned anytime soon. FAR easier to pass a bad law than to overturn one.

The only way it will go away is via a constitutional challenge and we haven't been able to get rid of Denver's ban so don't keep your hopes up to high. If I remember right from something else I have read in the past even if we elected all republicans next time around that the way the constitution and the assembly works it would still be very difficult to overturn any law in the Assembly.

Very small chance of repeal at this stage. Governor won't sign a repeal and we don't control the legislature.

An initiative for repeal would have a very small chance of passing as the media would flood the news with horror stories of how we will all die if the bills are repealed and we don't have the funds to counter that free propaganda.

Court challenges are a possibility but not even 50/50.

Not a chance. Socialists are in complete control of the Colorado political machine.

Ok so say the PUB's take control of the legislature next election, and lickenpooper is replaced with a PUB? I"m not hopeful here but a man has to have a little silver lining in the dark storm-cloud of the liberal agenda.

Mag cap ban has a good chance of being repealed, based on the piss poor wording and general lack of how these work.
CBI charge has a good chance of it, because it violates social contracts and can be argued as a poll tax.
Background check law has almost no chance, because background checks at dealers are already accepted norm.
