It is included in the price ($5 entry plus $10 for each PMAG). Just so you know, they do tack on a $3.00 handling fee & $1.23 credit card processing fee. They also ask for an additional donation, but that's optional.

Serious Texas BBQ on the north end of Loveland is pretty good and their brisket is about the best in the area. If you're going to be heading south from Grimm Brother's to Glendale I suggest stopping at Georgia Boys in Longmont for some of the best brisket in the state.

That was kind of my point. I like Nordy's too but for different reasons. I like the lunch buffet & if you're starving it's a great value. Other than that Nordy's is a little too commercialized for me. I eat it and enjoy it but if someone asks for the best BBQ in Loveland my answer is still Serious Texas BBQ. I still think he'd be better hitting up Georgia Boys on his way to Glendale.

I took my wife and 25 y.o. son. We all got the commemorative PMAGs (yeay!) - my sense is we were near the end of the freebies. Neat to see Michael Brown and Dana - Dana especially was great. She arrived in the helo.

Although my wife and son don't have an AR yet, they both wanted to keep theirs so they had an excuse to get one! That may bankrupt me, but pretty cool on the other hand. Wifester says she doesn't want "any gay pink furniture" on hers, and definitely no hello kitty stuff. I don't think so. As I understand the law, only those already here - in "constant possession" of mag's over 15 rounds can own/possess them. This will really screw with military personnel moving into state who currently own them.

No, you can't bring them in once the law is passed. Current residents and their currently owned magazines. Starting in a few hours they can no longer change possession nor can new magazines be possessed.

If you were in "constant possession" of the magazine prior to moving to CO why you they be illegal? The law is vague on purpose.

Because you weren't a citizen of the state prior to July 1st so being in constant possession doesn't matter because you weren't a resident prior to July 1st while in constant possession.

I disagree. Right from the statute:

(2) (a) A PERSON MAY POSSESS A LARGE-CAPACITY MAGAZINE IF HE OR SHE:

(I) OWNS THE LARGE-CAPACITY MAGAZINE ON THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
SECTION; AND

(II) MAINTAINS CONTINUOUS POSSESSION OF THE LARGE-CAPACITY MAGAZINE.

Nowhere does the statute say the mags need to be in CO by 7/1/13. You only need to continually possess them prior to, and continuing past, 7/1/13.

This was all I wanted from the event (still donated) as I've got plenty of everything else including 40rd Pmags. I had hoped they would make a final push to get those out in time since I've been waiting patiently for years. Now I know that unless they get the laws overturned I'll never own an AK47 Pmag 'legally'.

Legally is the term there. The thought had crossed my mind to grab some from out of state and just hide them, but I'm law abiding and all.

If the magazines didn't even exist prior to July 1st it's going to be pretty easy to prove you didn't own them prior to July 1st. Hence why I was hoping to see Magpul bring them last night even if in pre-production form because that would then be one more magazine on the pre-July 1st list making it difficult to prove we didn't own any beforehand.
