View Full Version : Good news, you don't need to work to support yourself, it's not your duty!
My nephew put this up on Facebook it's from occupy Wall Street. Sounds to me like we need 9999 fewer people in the world as they obviously serve no purpose.

I guess he didn't live long enough to pay for his ideas. Typical lib-tard.
Damn. And I used to respect fuller.

I kinda agree.
Subsistence lifestyles, homesteaders, etc.
There are large populations of people in other countries that have not had jobs, and have lived that way for thousands of years.
Not having a job is fine with me as long as you aren't standing at an intersection holding a piece of cardboard or living off the gubment.
Unfortunately, that is the mindset of a lot of people today. Not just the youth. A lot of people on unemployment found it enjoyable because they had freedom to be themselves and not at the mercy of an employer. Scary mentality. Today, it's all about feeling good and having fun. After all, "YOLO", right?

Or someone else's dime because your lazy, or strung out on drugs. No need for a job, if you care for self, family, needs, etc. and your self sustaining. Working for your self, and not having a typical job; OK.
If a person has the ability to support them and their family, I have no problem with that. The way I read it, it appeared that the 9999 should live off the largess of the one. I have no idea how that young man could have a belief even similar to this as his dads work ethic is amazing and he is always done whatever it took to support him and his.
Just tell me where to sign up if anyone knows a way I don't have to work and can make a six figure income.

You said he has a dad that works very hard and supports everyone, so why should he have to work?
He doesn't support him any more, I expected him to grow into a self sufficient man like his father.

They don't see it like that anymore. Many have the "instant" mentality. I put in an application so you give me a job, right? After just a few applications and no job they give up.

Ha. I've thought about it. I'd love to see the media trying to bleep out all of my expletives during my campaign speeches and debates.

Haha, like the Happy Gilmore of politics?

Or in some cases (like one in my house) they intentionally mess up the application so they won't get hired. [fail]

Ive always felt work gives man a sense of purpose, no matter what degree. Ive never been one to sit by idle thinking without having that itch to go out and do something.
