This isn't the only issue with this Bloomberg POS. I guess there is a provision that people need to comply with state OR federal law instead of and. I guess it also conflicts with other areas in statute where it didn't strike the previous language. My friend who lives up there has a list if stupid provisions.

Well, this was a piece of legislation that was written by people that have no business writing laws and passed by morons (the stupidity of the American voter, Gruber was right).

Perhaps the governor of WA will take on the powers of the dictator and just change the law with his pen, he has the example of our president to guide him.

This was my favorite part of the whole article, especially the part about the LEO's:

" As it now stands, it appears that very few residents of Washington State have an interest in complying with the new law, which will presumably be just fine, since the state's law enforcement officers have very little interest in a law that they feel is both unconstitutional and unenforceable."

I can hear all the Union workers now, "Not my job boss, I'll just sit here until you figure it out."

Maybe I'm giving the liberals too much credit...but I think maybe they knew exactly what they were doing when they wrote this very broad law.

CNN Headline:

Tragedy averted in Washington!

Suspect found with belt-fed assault firearms in his truckbed toolboxes. He had been concealing them in his roofing truck for some time, witnesses said.
One gentleman, who we will not name so you cannot confirm or deny our reporting, stated that the gentleman said he "had some jobs" to do,
waiving the beltfed assault firearm around menacingly. It is unknown how many members of the community have been saved from this risk, but experts at CNN
state it is exactly 27 single mothers that owe their lives to this police raid. Police showed up at 1AM thanksgiving morning and immediately took down his door in a surprise raid to ensure officer safety.

Once the criminal awoke and realized he had been tased three times, he asked who was going to fix his door. The murderous criminal was told by
heroic officers that he should hire a carpenter. Then the officers uncoverted his cache of black & decker beltfed AR-15 assault guns complete with belts of hundreds of rounds of 10 gauge ammunition.
A CNN reporter has googled 10 gauge and determined that this is a belt fed AR-15 shotgun with 10 gauge slugs capable of defeating an armored vehicle from 300 yards away.

Unnamed experts have been quoted as saying this man was likely preparing to take down the entire government, and he has been declared a terrorist, and was put on the no fly list. Hussain Muback Muhammad Din Laden, his neighbor, was quoted as saying "Yeah, I knew Shad. I always thought he was an infidel and needed to die, but this? Nobody expects this. I mean, he was just a regular american pigdog. I didn't see this coming, or I would have pushed the button sooner." Here at CNN we can certainly sympathize with Mr. Laden. We can't imagine waking up with a homicidal criminal carpenter next door. It certainly seems that it is high time to make these types of things more illegal than they already are, which should automatically save the lives of another 42 children tomorrow, our experts say.

If you want to donate to Mr. Laden for his emotional trauma, please visit the enclosed indiegogo link ....
Winner!

A conservative sheriff needs to go to a construction site the day is law come into effect and arrest a few illegal for passing a nail gun to other co-workers. That should awaken a few liberals to the stupidity of and unjust law.

Not sure if fireworks are covered, but stopping a gay-pride fireworks show would work just as well.
