I saw the trailer, and while the idea is interesting, I think the filming method (1st person) is going to make the movie suck. But I could very well be wrong.

We also saw the trailer when we went to go see Deadpool. The 1st person view was challenging to watch and we weren't impressed, but I think the concept is interesting. Hopefully they work out the issues as I'd like to see new ideas like this rather than more sequels.

I posted it a year or two ago and it got magic-deleted-away (it's pretty violent) so if you want to see it, just go to youtube and do a search for "biting elbows" (should be first result).

AFAIK, they're all Russian people behind the development.

yeah, never thought about watching 1st person on the big screen. On the small computer screen it looks cool but I could see how people could get motion sickness.

Except in the Duke Nukem movie the fps part was short and horrible. This one has some scenes I really like (in the partially built/destroyed building?)

Duke Nukem movie? Are you thinking Doom w/ Dwayne Johnson? If so, egads, yes that was terrible and nausea-inducing.

Yes Doom, and not to compare them, just to say it's not new. I like the idea for a one off movie. Could you imagine if the idea took off and there were first person romantic comedies? Even pov porn is terrible.

Saw the trailer before Deadpool . . . there is no way I will see it. Just the preview gave me a headache watching it. I can't imagine a whole movie shot like that.

Looks like they filmed an entire action movie with a gopro.

I wanna see it, but I'll probably wait til I can watch it on a smaller screen. I can't even go to a 3D movie without getting a headache.

This started out as a concept short film two or three years ago. If memory serves me right, they shopped it for investors and now we're seeing the result of that. The scene in the trailer where he hucks the frag at those two guys across the staircase is from the original short.

I may still have to see this. They did this first person shooter with the movie Doom but not until the end. Should be fun for the whole movie maby
