So I joined ages ago with the intent of buying an AR-15, however I finally bought one:)
I went in for a Rock River Entry Tactical and came out with a Colt 6920.
Went up to the North Site this morning to zero it. If you're ever up there and its sunny and you see a bald guy remind him to wear his hat! In all the excitement I forgot to and dang is my head red!

Guess this would be a........welcome back.
I have heard those "red heads" can hurt a bit.

I am always forgetting my damn hat too. You'd think that as long as I've been bald...

Hmmm... Maybe we should start a "When your face is so good looking it is taking over the rest of your head" shoot... Where we'll get a corporate sunscreen sponsor.

Welcome back. How many rounds did it take you to sight her in? My DoubleStar with a Larue BUIS took me one shot to sight in at 100 yards. I was shooting at an avergae fist size apple and first shot tagged it and decided if I can hit the apple at 100 yards, I will be just fine. I was really pleased with both the AR and the BUIS. The BUIS needed no adjustment out of the box. Link below is for the BUIS. [M2]

Bald = hat left in vehicle always...
been there, done that too.
Took about 20 rounds but I'm still not 100% happy with the zero. But thats probably more to do with being out of practice.
Remembered my hat yesterday:)
welcome, and congrats on the colt
