My divorce from a insane crazy woman is final. I retain sole custody of my son. I don't drink so what is a fellow to do?

Take son to candy aisle of store. Instruct him to pick out anything he wants. Purchase. Return home and gorge. Enjoy sugar high while sending inappropriate texts to your ex.

Dinner....a very nice dinner with your son.

Don't forget to BURP really loud after dinner [LOL]

I believe the correct response is to "Dance a Jig" [Dance]

One doesn't need to drink, to celebrate. What ever you and your son have in common, spend the day doing it.

Give him a big hug and let him know you love him and you'd do anything for him.

Been doing that for almost 8 years now.

It's never to soon to reflect on where you went wrong and how to see it coming in the future when choosing another mate. (From a guy that’s been married three times) Children are your only constant, children are what keep you going through tough times, treasure them every day.

Video game marathon with all the pizza and pop you can get [WooHoo], or cartoon marathon ;)
Congrats, were sure you'll give your son the best love you can give him.

Congrats! Some of the best advice I got is advice I didn't want to follow. Take the high road, and refrain from disparaging remarks about ex when son is within earshot.

My natural reaction to difficult relationship failures is usually 'napalm'.

Different view. Kinda like a belated new start. New circumstances, do something new and adventurous. At 8 yrs old I introduce minions to alpine slide. Then pizza and pop.

I can identify with your new situation. Step back, take a breath and enjoy the new opportunities.

Congrats

Why not ask him what he wants to do? Then make it happen

Congrats on the removal of your cancer. I have never been divorced so I have no advice on that.

I can teach you how and what to drink if you're buying! [Beer]

A guy I used to work with would say "getting married is the only mistake I've ever made twice."

OP: Congrats on beating the system. It's difficult for dads to get sole custody, psycho mom or not.
