Everything is bright, vivid green, the flowers are blooming and the snakes are starting to venture out. Not sure what type of snake that is but it ain't a rattler.

Is that snake a black racer? He would be good one to have around, eating mice and other pesky critters.

I don't know what it is. But he can eat as much as he wants. I have a packrat or two that need eatin'.

ID Fish and Game pamphlet calls it a "racer" snake. So, you're probably right. Looked up some images and that's pretty much what it has to be.

Aliens. Why didn't I think of that excuse? That's much better than blaming it on my shitty sprinkler system. Or my piss poor ability to maintain a sprinkler system.



I might just pay somebody to straighten my stuff out this year.
