The population shift is growing.
Idaho is the number one spot.

Are we sure they aren't getting blown into Idaho?

Sounds like Idaho has started to "urbanize" around Boise, something that Wyoming either didn't want or couldn't do.

If people are fleeing Wyoming, maybe its time to look into the local real estate market there.

didn't want to do. With less people in the entire state than just Denver alone.... we like our peace and quiet. :D

Smart! No cities = no Lib voting block to steal the state.

I lived in Bridger Valley for several years during the Trona construction craze in the late '70s at plants north of the Green River Little America.

Beautiful country around the Uinta mountains South of I-80. not to mention the magnificent North end of the state.

Son of a bitch...

And it's probably the Californians that moved to WY in the summer...then lived thru a winter...that are "fleeing". It won't be the real Wyomingites(?).

All those folks will need pop—up furniture too, so get ready to welcome IKEA. Their new hømėstëdër line will be a hit!

It's them and recent CA transplants who are about to use the nuclear option in Id. Starting in TF & Boise. Our neighbor just returned from Costa Rica, where there was a Boise resident on the tour also. She said all he did was Bitch , Bitch, Bitch about Boise & Id in general. If you're from Boise why the CONSTANT Bitching?

DRUM ROLL.....................................

Well actually i'm from CA. Only been in Boise a year, it's nothing like the city i left for my work relocation. BUT there's other's like me in the area who want to see Boise change....................[panic] So it feels more like CA. [panic]

True Story. We've been seeing it here for many a year, the 18 election will be the next step. I don't see it becoming less liberal.

Well, it'll be a tough nut for liberals to crack here...even in Boise. Not saying it can't happen but it's gonna take a while. Longer than I have left anyway. You young guys are screwed.

The Feds have ways of helping.

If the Executive flips I can all but guarantee a campaign to break up red states as retribution for Trump.

From what we saw and people we talked to 2 months ago. It's fairly solid red. BUT... with numbers of people packing up and leaving CA be it the insane taxes or not rebuilding after the fires. The influx of left of center CA folk is coming. Look to Ore & WA if one wants to see the future.

One thing to think about is that the Californians that are fleeing the sinking ship of CA are probably the better ones ... that is to say they have the gumption to get off their butts and move instead of just sit there in their shit.

Now a certain percentage of them are going to be dyed-in-the-wool socialist cockroaches, moving on to destroy a new host state. But some of them will be teachable.

So since guns tend to be a gateway drug to conservative/libertarian thinking ... I recommend you befriend these Californians as they come out here and get them to the range as soon as you can.

If we're going to be stuck with them we might as well try to convert them too. My wife and I actually did this with a couple from Connecticut. They were foolish liberal UCON grad Nutmeggers when they got here and by the time they moved on to Texas a few years later (they moved for his job) we had them as gun owning, church going, Republican voting conservatives.

They did it to Colorado, Northern VA, parts of Texas ... they are like the flu ... will keep at it and keep changing to achieve their objective of sucking the life out of America in general and conservatives in particular ...

That is.... just scary. It sucks here already, and a part of why I want to leave.
