Did anyone see what looked like Tornado's flying over Lakedwood this morning?

Unfortunately I was driving and pulling into a parking spot at a LGS. I only caught the back end. Maybe they could of been F-111's from another country?

There's a German Tornado unit that is based/trains at Holloman AFB in NM

All F-111s are retired. Could be Panavs going to a Nevada exercise.

We're you a F-111 pilot? Guessing this off your name? Looks like all the F111s were retired in 2010 from the RAAF.

Red Flag in Nevada is a shadow of what it once was. We used to go all the time. It was so much fun, an ass kicker, but fun. Now the big one is in Alaska.

I thought the German Air Force left Holloman AFB a couple of years ago. My SIL in Alamogordo reported that her German friends had returned home and the German School was closed. There was a You Tube video about how Alamogordo was going to deal with the economic impact of this move.
